Dragons and Dungeons – Jousting knights, damsels in distress, friendly dragons, and a castle for a bed! This whimsical mural expands beyond the walls and onto the furniture. The family hired a carpenter to build the bed, which I painted into a castle, complete with a dungeon (the dresser drawers) and an escape tunnel (with medieval rats). Glow-in-the-dark paint is used on the ceiling for star details. The dragon was inspired by a favorite artist of the family. There are two dogs in the mural, both of which are family friends. The family crest was researched and added to personalize the castle.
